"On the Threshold of Medicine: IV. Intern Symposium" Held at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine

The fourth Intern Symposium, which has become a tradition at the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine, began on 26 May 2025 at the Göztepe Campus and continued through 30 May 2025. The symposium enabled intern doctors to share the knowledge and experience they had gained during their education.

As part of the symposium, intern students are strengthening their academic and professional development through a program enriched with presentations, case discussions and contributions from expert guests. At the same time, the students also have the opportunity to improve their presentation techniques and scientific expression skills.

In his opening speech, Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Merter Yalçınkaya underlined the importance given to intern education and emphasized that such events make valuable contributions to students on their journey to becoming physicians.

A science-filled first day of chest diseases and internal medicine sessions is behind us.

🧠 A day ranging from neurological diseases to case analyses, and from workshops to the alumni session.
The physicians of the future took their places in the workshops.

👶 The 3rd day of the symposium was completed with pediatrics panels and trauma management.
Each session brought our students even closer to the clinic.

Legal responsibilities were discussed as much as clinical practice.
